| Guess What?! I got a car! *squees* I was surprised...I wasn't sure if I was actually going to be able to get one but my mom and grandma surprised me! Its a 2003 Saturn Ion and its a reddish color. So yay!
Umm...not much has happened. I went to the beach (Bethany) with Lys about 4 days after I got home. That was a lot of fun. I of course got burned on the beach but hey whats new. It also gave me time to catch up with Lys .
I will say that as much as I loved Gov. School, I missed some things of being home too. For example, I missed showing this year at fair. I'm going on Friday to watch but its not the same. And I miss percussion....I want to see Ian's and Dooley's awesome runs really bad. I might even end up coming to a practice...maybe not because that would be weird. Hmmm...
But yeah, I'm not ready to go back to school. I'm being put through the torture of reading "All the King's Men" and the book is winning.
Well I'm tired so I'm going to end with "Ooo Baby, I'm a Double XL"

| So I made it....Actually thais such an understatement its not even funny. I LOVED (let me reiterate that) LOVED PGSAS! I had such an amazing time! I don't even know where to start. Well, if you want to see some of what I did go to this website. It will be up until August 15.

OMG! The people there were amazing. I'm going to miss them all so much. I love Andrew (aka. Chicken Boy), Jen, Anna, Rachel, Wade (my Teddy Bear), PJ, Cory, Katie (I heart you Katie! You really were the best roomate ever!), Renee, ... If I keep going I'm seriously going to name all 63 of them! I will never forget this experience! Some random memories for those of you looking at this that were at PGSAS:
-
Turkeys are not the only ones that create that unique social order
-
Caffine jolts every part of you
-
Chickens really are magic
-
Hippies are experienced dancers
-
Sometimes the biggest people have the biggest hearts (especially for sheep)
-
Sometimes the smallest can kick your ass in heart beat
-
"Bitch" can be a term of endearment
-
So can many other insults if they come from Renee
-
You honestly can drink a gallon of milk without throwing up (although bad things happen when it finally does leave the body)
-
Everything in this world has to do with either chickens, follicles, and/or sex
-
4 words "Shut the hell up!"
-
Sometimes the wildest people are also the most reserved otherwise
-
Never, Ever judge a book by its cover because sometimes the best part is in tiny font that you can only read if you squint
-
Oh, and Brit really, really hates bits
It's so funny. I did not want to go to this thing at all. You guys that are here at home probably couldn't stand me that week before I left. I was in an awful mood. Then Katie called and that intrigued me...I decided to make the best of it. But I didn't have to....It was mad awesome by itself!
I learned so much there....about people, about myself, and, oh yeah, about Ag too! I think I have changed....hopefully for the good. (Anna, I remember!) I also learned that I'm not as messed up as I thought (or that other people are too! ) I will never forget my experiences at PGSAS. It was so nastily amazing....I wish I could express it some way.
PGSAS, I Love you all and I will never Forget you!

| I figure I'd update before I left for Govenor's School (since it was actually requested I do). So here it goes:
Not much has happened...at all. Um, Hunnybear had surgery and has been recovering from that. My mom and I went to Jubliee Day in Mech. which I found to be a good place to shop. Let's see...training is getting better. Both Sunny and Hunnybear have progressed (and it kinda is disheartening that I have to leave and most of that work will go down the drain). That's about it...
Oh to answer your questions, Scott: eh..., yes kinda, and yeah pretty much.
more to come...okay so I stopped in the middle of my entry to eat dinner
Anyways, I would now like to Congratulate Lys! I knew I should have started that pool earlier. I needed the money!
So there's not much else really...I have been working on this stupid triangle thing for Gov school that everyone has to do and I already didn't follow directions.
ok, well I'll see if I have time to keep this updated while I'm up there. I don't know if I will. If you ever want to see how things are going, cal my cell (or text) and leave a message... I'll get back to ya (it may be at midnight that night but it's the thought that counts )
By the way Dustin, if you do steal the dogs, Can you help them lose weight and then bing them back on the 29th of July so I can have tham again? Thanks....
Some quotes to end with:
"Don't do anything I wouldn't do..." ~Cher as Rachel Flax in Mermaids
“If I'd observed all the rules, I'd never have got anywhere” ~Marilyn Monroe
"The world is not dangerous because of those who do harm but beacause of those who look at it without doing anything" ~Albert Einstein
"I do not fear failure. I only fear the 'slowing up' of the engine inside me whic is pounding, saying, 'Keep going, someone must be on top, why not you?'" ~General George S. Patton
Out of the ash I rise with my red hair And eat men like air. ~Sylvia Plath

| It has been a month so I guess I should update...
Um, what has happened? Let's see... School ended yesterday (thank god!) and Graduation was kinda sad. I'm going to miss the seniors. I wish you guys all the best of luck!
Let's see May was basically Prom (good minus my mom making everyone late), Gatsby paper (which I had to rewrite 3 times and my stress level was through the roof the entire time but it was worth it because I got an A ), The weekend when Lys, Lorin, Dani, Christine, and Lorissa came over (I still am hesitant about getting too close to ketchup and I really hope that the mini golf place doesn't track us down), The memorial dedication (That came out beautiful....even with the rain), and the Memorial/ Lysa's birthday weekend (bowling has some interesting outcomes...).
Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the turtle (may he reat in peace [not pieces :( ]) I got my first flat tire by running over a turtle and his shel breaking and instantly slashing my tire. Yeah, and then to make it worse I tried to get the rest of the pieces off the road and I stepped in a huge mud puddle and lost my flip flop. Did I mention this was at 10:30 at night and I was in my pajamas? Thank god I had Lorissa (thank you for finding the flip flop), Lysa (your dad and Ty are my heros) and Christine.
So now back to summer....I'm glad it is finally here. I'm going to take this time and rest (something I won't get to do once school starts).
And now I'll end with a quote:
"You'd find it easier to be bad than good if you had red hair," said Anne reproachfully. "People who haven't red hair don't know what trouble is." -Anne to Marilla in Anne of Green Gables
